The Principles of Community for UCSF (PDF) was developed by the Chancellor's Committee on Student & Campus Life and was adopted by the Chancellor's Executive Committee in April 2002.
17,000 copies of the Principles were distributed to the entire UCSF campus community and a bulleted version of the Principles were reproduced on banners which stood in prominent campus locations.*
Permanent plaques can now be viewed in the lobbies of these buildings:
Medical Sciences Building, Parnassus Campus
Medical Center at Mount Zion
Mission Center Building
Laurel Heights Campus
Mission Bay - New Community Center
